Protective gear, duct tape to tape over lights and mirrors, ear protection to wear under your helmet, and enough to eat and drink. For registration at the Raceoffice: your health insurance card (e-card) and cash for pit box rental. Pit box rental and transponder are not included in the price. And a good mood.
Leathers are mandatory; textile suits are not allowed. We recommend a one-piece suit; two-piece suits only with the connecting zip closed. Also mandatory: a full-face helmet (no flip-up helmets), a back protector, leather gloves and ankle-high boots. We recommend an airbag or a chest protector.
Everyone covers their own damage, whether you misjudged something or another rider touched you. That's part of the code of honour in motorsport. Many accident and vehicle insurance policies don't pay out on the racetrack. That's why we recommend your own trackday insurance, for example with our partner RaceInc.
Ride cleanly and predictably, only overtake where it's safe, and watch out for flags and marshals. Zero alcohol: the limit is 0.0. In the pit lane, walking pace only and in one direction; no smoking in the pit boxes; no children in the pit lane. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am, no wheelies, burnouts or stoppies. Take your rubbish, used oil and tyres with you when you leave. Anyone who doesn't follow the rules can be excluded without a refund.
Safety comes before speed. We ride hard but fair: no weaving, no blocking, no showing off. We follow the marshals without discussion. If you make a mistake, you own it, and everyone covers their own damage. In the paddock, people help each other: lending tools, helping with tyre warmers, offering a hand to someone who has crashed. And we set an example, including for the children who are watching.
Two to four days before, you'll get an email with the schedule, the location of the Raceoffice and the pit box plan. At the Raceoffice you'll receive your race number, transponder, group sticker and schedule. The rider briefing is mandatory: without it you're not allowed on the track. If you're riding in a race, you'll also attend the race briefing during the lunch break.
Yes. For complete track newcomers there's group instruction. Experienced racers and instructors show you body position, correct braking and line choice, so you can find your way around the track safely.
In the morning you're shown the track in a group, with several riders following one instructor. In the afternoon you can sign up at the Raceoffice for one-to-one or two-rider instruction. Free for newcomers and slower riders, as long as places are available.
Estimate your level from your times at another track. You can't choose wrongly: by lunchtime at the latest, we regroup riders based on the lap times they've ridden.
You can cancel without giving reasons within 7 days of your booking, provided there are still at least 28 days until the start of the event – in writing by email to office@froeschlracing.com. If you cannot take part later, name a replacement rider to us by email up to 48 hours before the start. The processing fee for the rebooking is € 25.00. All details are in the terms and conditions.
With us and at the tyre service, cash only, for example for pit box rental. Pit box rental and transponder are not included in the price. The track restaurant and the petrol station usually take cards, but don't rely on it.
No. For technical reasons we can't integrate other transponders. You receive the transponder when you register at the Raceoffice. Pit box rental and transponder are not included in the price.
Yes, throughout the paddock and in the pit boxes, free of charge. There are distribution boxes with Schuko and three-phase sockets. Bring a cable reel, about 25 metres long. At Rijeka/Grobnik you'll also need a CEE 16/3 adapter.
Yes. Showers and toilets are open around the clock. You can sleep in your car, your van or your pit box. Bring an air mattress and a sleeping bag. Quiet hours start at 10 pm.
Yes. About three days before, we'll tell you from what time you can enter the paddock and when the Raceoffice opens the day before.
Yes. Depending on the track, there are large and small pit boxes or a shared pit box area. Tell us what you'd like when you book, and we'll get back to you by email.
Yes. Please use the space sparingly.
That depends on the track. To be safe, always bring your dB killer.
Yes. Where you'll find it depends on the track, so just ask at the Raceoffice. Our tyre and technical partner is HSMoto.
Yes. In heavy rain we recommend waiting in the paddock. Instructor sessions don't take place in the rain.
There's no requirement. Only your lap time counts, whether you have 50 or 200 hp.
Yes, as long as it meets the usual safety standards: working brakes, no sharp edges, proper fairings. You'll find the details in the terms and conditions.
No. But you should be able to handle your motorcycle safely.
No. If you have the maturity, reaction time and sense of responsibility it takes, and you ride your motorcycle safely, you're welcome to join.
No, unfortunately we can't offer that. Bring your own motorcycle and your own protective gear.
We're racers ourselves and don't like being stuck in traffic. That's why the number of riders per group is limited, and you have plenty of room to ride.
Yes, visitors don't pay an entry fee. Children may only move around the paddock with an accompanying adult.
That depends on the track: pets are not allowed at most race tracks. So please ask us beforehand by email to office@froeschlracing.com. Where dogs are allowed, they must be kept on a lead throughout the paddock.
