For us, it's more than just fast lap times and squealing tyres – it's about passion, friendship and the feeling of achieving something special together. Our team consists of people who put their heart and soul into what they do: racers, mechanics, planners, dreamers and doers. Each of us brings our own stories, talents and quirks to the table – and that's exactly what makes FRT so vibrant.
What connects us is our enthusiasm for motorsport and the joy of sharing this feeling with you. Whether on the track, in the paddock or behind the scenes, we give our all to ensure that every participant has an unforgettable experience. Sometimes we are instructors, sometimes timekeepers, sometimes counsellors or social media voices – but above all, we are people who tackle every task with passion and a smile on our faces.
This project is not just a job for us, it's a labour of love. We invest time, energy and sometimes even our last ounce of nerves – and that's exactly why every track day with us feels a bit like family. No fuss, no rigid structures – just honesty, approachability and the guarantee that everyone will go home with a big smile on their face.
Karl is the reason why engines are allowed to roar here at all. Even as a child, he had only one plan: to become a racer — and he never lost sight of that dream. Motocross, road racing, countless corners throughout Europe: Karl has clocked up more kilometres and experienced more stories than most people own pairs of socks. Everyone who knows him knows that behind his loud laugh lies tireless ambition, and behind every joke lies the heart of a true racer.
At some point, the thought occurred to him: ‘Retirement? Optional.’ – and out of pure love for racing, he became the organiser, visionary and namesake of this whole party. Karl puts his heart and soul into everything he does: from planning and organisation to the smallest details on the track. He is loud, warm-hearted, a true original – someone whose handshake still carries weight and who immediately makes you realise: life is fun here.
Karl is not only the owner of Fröschl Racing, he is the heart and soul of the company, bringing people together, motivating teams and infecting every event with his energy. Anyone who has been on the track with him or experienced him in the paddock quickly realises that with Karl, every day is an adventure and every trackday is an experience you won't soon forget.
Stefan Pierer
Stefan found his way to Karl at the very first track day – Karl kindly took him under his wing, and he has been part of the family ever since. As a mechanical engineer and organiser, he brings structure and heart together: clear in his approach, open in his tone. Where necessary, he sets boundaries – not out of strictness, but so that everyone can drive safely, be treated fairly and the team can work in a relaxed manner.
Together with Karl, he has built Fröschl Racing step by step – with a lot of passion, long days, some hurdles and many moments of hearty laughter. Today, Stefan holds everything together: from the strategic direction to the little paddock dramas – including the texts that can be read here. What drives him? The people who drive home in the evening with a big smile on their faces. For this feeling, we are happy to roll up our sleeves.
Flo is the person who brings calm to any chaos — and a stopwatch that reacts faster than many a thumb. With over 25 years of experience on and off the track, he has seen it all as an instructor, event manager and racer.
Yes, rumour has it that he used to be really fast – but his real strength today is keeping track of the timing. If a problem arises somewhere, Flo usually already has a solution up his sleeve. Flo is the calming influence in the Race Office: relaxed, precise and always ready to listen to riders' questions. When uncertainty arises or someone wants to know where they stand, Flo is the first port of call. He usually solves problems before others even notice them, and always with a twinkle in his eye. That's exactly what makes him an indispensable part of our team.
Markus Kiegerl
Markus lives for riding motorcycles — and in such a way that it infects everyone who is on the track with him. Having started riding at an early age, he has been touring Europe's race tracks with his wife and little ‘team boss’ for over ten years, bringing not only experience but also calmness, confidence and a healthy dose of passion. Because he rarely ends up in the gravel and always keeps a cool head, we promptly made him chief instructor — no objections were accepted.
Markus combines speed with safety, explains complex concepts in an understandable way and demonstrates in a relaxed, humorous manner how to push boundaries without crossing them. He takes time for each rider, observes closely, gives tips at the right moment and motivates with infectious enthusiasm. Anyone who trains with Markus quickly realises that it's not just about fast laps, but about developing your own skills with joy and respect. Patience, humour and a dose of light-heartedness make him exactly the type of instructor you want to trust when things get serious — and at the same time someone who makes every lap a little adventure.
Johann Aldrian
By far the youngest 70-year-old you'll find on a race track. Having been on two wheels for decades, he brings experience, calmness and a joy of life that is more infectious than any engine sound. Anyone who knows Johann knows that he doesn't just ride a motorbike, he dances with it. Whether it's a 1000cc rocket or a 600cc super sports bike, he masters them all with an elegance that is only known to old masters. His lines are so clean that you would like to frame them, and his speed regularly causes astonished faces – because Johann doesn't ride comfortably, he rides precisely fast.
As an instructor, he is a beacon of calm: quiet, thoughtful and always with a clear eye for what is important. Both on and off the track, Johann is a true role model: he embodies the spirit of Fröschl Racing – passion, humour and the unshakeable belief that age is not a limitation, but just a number on paper. Anyone who has ever spoken to him immediately senses that here is someone who carries racing in his heart – and who reminds everyone that enthusiasm has no expiry date.
Not yet captured - our volunteers and helpers
This section is for the real die-hards – behind the scenes, there are many helping hands without whom nothing would run smoothly. Many of them are volunteers, arriving early, staying late and putting just as much heart, energy and passion into the preparations as everyone else. They build, organise, screw things together, ensure that every bend is safe and that everything runs seamlessly, often doing so unnoticed. There are no pictures yet because most of them prefer to get stuck in rather than pose for the camera – but every smile, every helping hand and every hour they invest is indispensable.
Once the helmets are off, they too take their place on stage: a big thank you for all their hard work, commitment and tireless support. Without these people, our track days would not be possible, because they are the ones who ensure that everything runs like clockwork and that every participant can enjoy the full experience. We are already looking forward to showing the entire crew soon – because each and every one of them makes Fröschl Racing what it is: a place full of passion, team spirit and genuine enjoyment of motorsport.
